A thesis at the Faculty of Physical Education discusses the strategic planning outlook for federations and specialized centers in Iraq and its comparison with some countries as an indication of Olympic weightlifting achievement

The discussion hall of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the doctoral thesis submitted by the researcher Abbas Idris Nour Al-Ghurabi and tagged “Prospecting the strategic planning of the federations and specialized centers in Iraq and comparing it with some countries as an indication of the Olympic achievement for weightlifting.”

The study aimed to build a measure of strategic planning foresight in the departments of specialized centers in Iraq.
And to identify the level of strategic planning foresight in the specialized centers in Iraq and some countries.
And to identify the differences in the foresight of strategic planning and Olympic achievement among the departments of specialized centers in Iraq and some countries in weightlifting.
The study recommended the necessity of establishing a strategic planning foresight program in Iraq in unions and specialized centers, similar to the foresight programs in scientifically advanced countries and the achievement in this field
In addition to the necessity of inviting all universities and ministries with competence to establish research and consulting centers entrusted with the task of studying the horizons, foreseeing future strategic planning for scientific and sports developments in Iraq
