College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah discussed a Ph.D. thesis the Nano-effect of alpha-amyrin envelope on the biological formation of mitochondria in diabetic male rats by the postgraduate student, Mr. Haider Kadhim Abbas.
The thesis demonstrated studying the role of the Nano-envelope as a reducer and treatment for type 2 diabetes and an antioxidant.
The thesis reviewed conducting blood serum analyses to measure glucose levels and other tests and conducting a histological sectioning of the pancreas, as well as knowing the levels of Gene expression and mitochondrial stress proteins responsible for insulin biosynthesis.
