Second-year students from the morning program at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences carried out a voluntary campaign to plant trees in the college gardens, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Habib Ali Taher, with active participation from students of sections (E, F, G, H).
Dr. Mazin Al-Kanati, a faculty member at the college, stated that the campaign is part of student activities aimed at raising environmental awareness and encouraging students to contribute to improving the university’s environment.
He further explained that the campaign targeted enhancing the college’s aesthetic appeal and increasing green spaces on campus, positively impacting the educational and health environment.
Dr. Al-Kanati added that such activities foster teamwork and a sense of belonging among students, emphasizing the importance of continuing these voluntary initiatives for their beneficial impact on the college and its students alike.
