College of Applied Medical Sciences, University of Kerbala organizes a training course on the most prominent obstacles and problems faced by beginners in field of translation, especially written translation, especially with regard to translation between Arabic and English.
Describing characteristics of effective translation, the course includes objectives of translation, stages of development and available means.
It also addressed the most prominent barriers faced by beginner translators, whether in terms of grammatical problems, or translation of some verbs, types of sentences, tenses, and adjectives.
The course sheds light on the most important linguistic differences between Arabic and English, and how to deal with them during translation by relying on simplified solutions.
