University of Kerbala Issues a Book on New Readings in Islamic History

A lecturer from College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abeer Abdul Rasoul Al-Tamimi, publishes a book which is entitled (New Readings in Islamic History: Research in Political, Social and Economic Thought).
To be divided into three chapters, the first chapter presents Ahl al-Bayt’s political thought. The second chapter explains political, social and cultural thought, and the third one deals with Islamic economic thought.
The author states that Islamic history and its philosophy have great importance and influence. It does not stop at recording historical events only but rather it implies knowledge of laws and reality of events that lie in human’s thoughts.
