The University of Karbala badminton team qualified for the golden square in the Iraqi Universities Championship for Students, whose competitions are held in Baghdad Governorate, at Baghdad University for Girls/College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, with the participation of 53 public and private universities.
In a statement to the Department of Media and Relations at the College of Physical Education, the head of the Student Activities Department confirmed that the team deservedly qualified for the semi-finals, praising the distinguished performance provided by the players.
The head of the department congratulated the technical staff, headed by the coach, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah, and the players on this achievement, praising the great support for student activities by the University President, the respected Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid.
