The Continuing Education Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala held an educational course entitled “The Athletics Law and its latest amendments,” in the college’s discussion hall. All the teachers at the college were present in the course: Lecturer Muayyad Fakhri, Lecturer Abbas Ali, and Lecturer Maya Muhammad Azeem Nasser.
The course aimed to introduce the latest amendments to the Athletics Law, explain and clarify its vocabulary, in addition to how to apply these amendments in local and international championships. The course also included clarifying aspects related to suspicion and discrepancy in various activities
At the conclusion of the course, the lecturers recommended the necessity of strengthening the students’ academic knowledge about athletics law, and applying it in the theoretical and practical fields, in order to prepare sports cadres who are fully aware of the laws and modern updates.
