The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a scientific educational symposium under the title “Women and Sports: From Challenges to Social Empowerment,” in the presence of a group of students and interested parties. The symposium was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Jassim Muhammad from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Ahl al-Bayt University (AS), and the symposium addressed the most prominent challenges facing women in practicing sports.
The symposium aimed to highlight the importance of sport in women’s lives from the physiological aspects, Psychological and social, in addition to reviewing effective strategies that women can follow to overcome these challenges and achieve their goals in the sports field with high effectiveness and productivity.
The symposium recommended emphasizing the importance of supporting women to practice sports and providing appropriate environments for them, in line with With the social and sporting context in society, and enhances their capabilities and potential.
