Female teachers at the College of Physical Education, M.M. Fatima Abbas Ali and M.M. Nour Alaa, participated in the Seventh International Scientific Conference for the Humanities and Social Sciences, which was held in Dohuk Governorate under the slogan “The reality of scientific research for a sustainable future.” The conference was organized by the Northern European Academy of Science and Scientific Research in cooperation with Arab and Iraqi scientific institutions, with the participation of more than 150 researchers from various countries.
The conference, which lasted for four days, discussed the importance of employing the humanities and social sciences in achieving sustainable development, and exchanging ideas and visions about their role in building a knowledge society and confronting contemporary challenges.
The importance of the conference is to exchange ideas and visions to employ the humanities to serve societies, highlight their important role in building a knowledge society, and shed light on contemporary humanitarian and social issues.
