The teacher at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Hussein Hassoun Abbas, was chosen as a member of the weight committee of the Iraqi Scientific Sports Association
Abbas said in a statement to the Department of Information and Relations of the college
He was chosen as a member of the Weightlifting Committee of the Iraqi Sports and Scientific Association, the branch of individual games, along with a number of professors from various Iraqi universities.
Explaining that the committee consisted of a. M. Dr. Ghassan Adeeb Abdel-Hassan, president of the University of Baghdad, prof. Dr. Hussein Hassoun, member of Karbala University, and Dr. Haider Ali Salman, member of Al-Mustansiriya University. M. M. Sarmad Ali Hassan from the University of Kirkuk, member
It is noteworthy that the association is affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
