Under the auspices of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi, the Department of Media and Public Relations, in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Karbala, held a training workshop on writing university news, with the participation of media officials in the colleges, research centers and all departments, in the hall of the College of Science. Media Division official Tariq Tariq Al-Khafaji said that the role aims to develop the skills of media people officials in the colleges in their field work by covering academic, scientific and cultural activities and events, as well as other various activities that are held in their colleges.
Al-Khafaji indicated that the course included valuable theoretical and practical lectures that lasted for three days, focusing on the development of editorial capabilities, the news industry, the basic rules of journalistic drafting, as well as the art of photography.
