The College of Physical Education, in cooperation with the Department of Studies at the National Sports Observatory of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is holding a symposium on the reality of university sports, ways to improve it, and the obstacles that prevent students from participating in sports activities and events.

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Development of Youth Personnel and Leaders / National Observatory Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, held a symposium on the reality of university sports and ways to develop them. The symposium aimed to introduce the importance of practicing sports activity for students in universities, the role of sports in refining and preparing the university student and keeping him away from the study routine, the importance of physical activity in body health and physical fitness, and the obstacles to students’ reluctance to participate in sports activities and events, restoring the psychological state and reducing cases of divorce and family disintegration. The door for dialogue and interventions was opened for the audience to listen to the problems that students suffer from in the practice of sports ….
The symposium recommended the need to solve problems related to university sports by providing all the necessary capabilities that create a university sports atmosphere full of activity, vitality and creativity.
