The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala, hosted the scientific symposium (the phenomenon of drugs, problems and solutions) to clarify the dangers of drug abuse on man and society, especially by young people, and the need for religious and social awareness and education about its circulation and abuse, which was organized by the Husseiniya Holy Shrine in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on Tuesday 7 12/2021 in the college’s great hall at ten o’clock in the morning, and it was attended by professors and students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, workers in the Human Resources Department at the Husseiniya Shrine, and university students, with the direct support of the Dean of the College, A. Dr. Habib Ali Taher Al-Husseini and scientific assistant a. M. Dr. Khaled Reda, the scientific assistant and lecturer in the course, Professor Dr. Aziz Karim Wanas, the teaching staff at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, His Eminence Mr. Mohsen Al-Modrasi, a professor at the Scientific Hawza, Dr. Mahdi Muhammad Al-Saadi, director of cultural forums, and Professor Jassam Muhammad Al-Saadi, a social researcher. At the conclusion of the expanded scientific symposium, books of thanks and appreciation and certificates of participation were distributed, and the lecturers and attendees recommended the most important recommendations.
