Prof. Dr. Habib Ali Taher, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the periodic meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Iraq, which was hosted by the University of Baghdad and in the presence of all members. It was received from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority and the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the ministry’s vision regarding the obtaining of physical education faculties on international accreditation, in addition to discussing the issue of updating and developing curricula for sports disciplines and addressing other important axes, most notably the axis of sports specializations and the axis of sports Curriculum and assistance books and the focus of the physical education departments for girls, as well as a discussion of the curricula and their units and their unification for all the corresponding departments. Curriculum update and development It was submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purpose of ratification, and the meeting ended with an emphasis on working to achieve everything that would raise the educational and sports reality in Iraq. For his efforts and dedication to the distinguished academic work to serve the scientific and educational process in the country.
