Assistant Professor Dr. Hussain Manati Sagit, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the Third International Scientific Conference for Scientific and Humanitarian Research held at Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey for the period from 25-26/11/2021. Dr. Hussain Manati Sagit said with a special statement With the college’s flags: The conference is of a high level, with the participation of more than 170 researchers from various Arab and foreign countries, including (Britain – New Zealand – Jordan – Sudan – Jamaica – Iraq – Palestine – Egypt – Tunisia – Uzbekistan – Malaysia), and the conference was held under the auspices of the Foundation Scholar International for international research and scientific activities.
He added, during the conference, I was assigned to the scientific committee of the conference, and I was chosen as the head of the research discussion session on the first day of the conference.
Regarding his participation, he spoke: I participated in a scientific research titled (A program for lactation endurance and its effect on some physiological variables and the performance of the skill of peaceful shooting for basketball juniors), which aimed to prepare exercises according to the lactic energy system and to identify its effect on managing some physiological variables and performing the skill of shooting in basketball. .
The most important conclusions were reached, namely, that the prepared exercises had a significant impact on improving the physiological variables (lactic acid concentration ratio – LDH enzyme – heart rate), which was positively reflected on the skillful performance of the skill of peaceful shooting.
He concluded by saying that this scientific achievement and participation aimed to raise the name of Iraq, the University of Karbala, and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in international scientific forums.
