In the presence of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Habib Ali Taher, a number of college professors, private universities, representatives of governmental and private institutions, pioneer athletes, youth, volunteer teams and civil organizations, a walking festival was held on the land of the walking track in the neighborhood of teachers in the governorate, which was organized by the Directorate of Youth and Sports of Karbala under the auspices of The Governor of Karbala, Professor Eng. Nassif Al-Khattabi, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, and a number of government service departments and civil organizations
The Dean of the College said in a statement to the Media Division that the festival witnessed a distinguished, active and large official, academic, sports and popular presence.
Noting that the festival included various sports activities and activities, such as walking for twenty minutes, taking into account all safety and health conditions
As well as organizing sports competitions for adults, youth and children, and motivational and encouraging races for the participating children
Noting that our college continuously seeks to provide support for such important and purposeful sports activities that would revitalize and motivate the community to practice sports due to its importance in maintaining human health
At the end of the festival, prizes, gifts and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants by the Dean of the College and a number of attendees.
