During 31st Graduation Ceremony University of Al- Nahrain, Dr. Al-Aboudi Confirms On The Success Achieved in University Institutions is Based on Quality of Programs & Keeping Pace with Variables of Knowledge & Labor Market

During the graduation ceremony of the 31st session of the students at the University of Al-Nahrain, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the success achieved in university institutions within two years is based on the quality of academic programs and keeping pace with the variables of knowledge and the labor market.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry works according to its strategic policy, its work perspective and its belief in the stages of integration to develop and grow the scientific and research environment, which was the basis and foundation for accelerating the wheel of universities, their colleges, sections, departments and centers in registering competitive positions in producing published scientific research and pioneering results in solid global rankings and web of science.

His Excellency highlighted that the success achieved in Iraqi university institutions during the two years of the Iraqi government’s life was based on the quality of academic programs and the positive work provided by faculty members and the link between outputs and the needs of society and keeping pace with and considering the variables of knowledge and the labor market locally and globally.

Dr. Al-Aboudi renewed the implementation of the programs indicated in the government program and the Ministerial curriculum of the Iraqi government and overcoming all challenges and commitment to integration based on a clear vision that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is the sectoral body legally authorized to manage the educational process in all its specializations and has several responsibilities represented by the noticeable increase in the enrollment rate in higher education institutions and organizing the relation with the diverse work environment in the public and private sectors.

Dr. Al-Aboudi also reviewed that the decisions taken within two years of performance came in the context of consolidating the culture and concepts of quality in Higher Education’s institutions and achieving the highest levels of development in the university environment and enriching and improving performance and supporting scientific, cultural and academic exchange between Iraqi university institutions and their counterparts in the world.

His Excellency demonstrated that the graduation of this group of students of Al-Nahrain University gives additional momentum towards preserving the academic reputation of Iraqi educational institutions that have embodied decades of dedication, work, commitment and responsible performance.
