The goal of the course is to understand the global problem that climate change affects every part of the world, including the environment, economy, and health, and to define the scope of this problem to appreciate its importance and increase awareness of the challenges we face, which requires taking individual and collective actions to reduce negative impacts.
The course included several topics, the first of which was raising awareness of the challenges around the negative impacts of climate change, such as rising temperatures, rising sea levels, and increasing natural disasters.
The second axis is to encourage solutions and discuss solutions such as the use of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental preservation, as well as preparing for the future: understanding climate change helps in planning and adapting to the upcoming changes.
