A lecturer at the University of Karbala, Dr. Ayat Hussein, was elected as a member of the Central Iraqi Volleyball Federation in the extraordinary supplementary electoral conference for vacant positions in the Volleyball Federation. Headquarters of the National Olympic Committee
Hussein received the majority of the votes after winning 50 votes out of 51 votes for membership in the Central Iraqi Volleyball Federation.
