The two teachers were chosen at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala. Dr. Hussein Makki and A. Dr. Hussein Hassoun are members of the administrative body of the Durrat Karbala Sports Club. The teacher at the College of Physical Education, Dr. Hussein Hassoun, said that they were elected by members of the club’s general body during the club’s expanded electoral conference, in the presence of the administrative assistant, Dr. Abbas Abdel Hamza, and under the supervision of representatives of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee and members. The general body of the club and a number of athletes, academics and media professionals in the governorate, indicating that they obtained 48 votes, also indicating that the teaching staff at the University of Karbala, M., was elected. Eng. Barakat Zaini was club secretary and Engineer Aqil Sahib was elected as club president. He added that the elections were held in accordance with the Sports Clubs Law No. 18 of 1986 and amended No. 37 of 1988, where a distinguished democratic atmosphere prevailed, expressing his great thanks and gratitude for this trust by the members of the club’s general body.
