A study in the Faculty of Physical Education discusses the differentiation of skillful performance and some cognitive and biokinetic abilities as a function of choosing defensive players in soccer under 17 years old

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a master’s thesis entitled Differentiation of skillful performance and some cognitive and biokinetic abilities as a function of selecting defensive players in football under 17 years
The thesis submitted by student Ali Sobhi Asi included five chapters
The study aimed to identify the level of skillful performance, cognitive abilities, and biokinetics as a function of selecting defensive players under the age of 17, and to identify the discriminatory indicators of skillful performance, cognitive abilities, and biokinetics as a function of selecting defensive players under the age of 17.
As well as identifying the selection of emerging defensive players in terms of impact sizes for skillful performance and some cognitive and biokinetic abilities.
Where the researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method (the current situation, where the research community included players of Karbala governorate clubs for the youth category, by (190) players, and the reconnaissance sample was (25) players and the main application sample was (70) players.
The study recommended the need to adopt the results of the current study as an indicator for the classification of young defensive players and the need to conduct studies that include the variables of the current study on other sports because of their impact and importance in classification
