The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Karbala University conducted a scientific experiment for one of the master’s students in the faculty
The head of the theoretical sciences branch and responsible for the laboratory accreditation unit, prof. M. Dr. Hussein Manati, in a statement to the Department of Media and Public Relations at the college, said that the scientific experiment was conducted for the master’s student, Abdul Wahed Hassan, for his thesis tagged (variation in the heel height of weightlifters’ shoes and its relationship to spinal curvatures and some bio-mechanical variables for lifters with the snatch) and on a sample of the national team weightlifting players. The experiment is in the physiology and biomechanics laboratory in our college and on the (Zebris) device, explaining that its aim is to identify the force exerted on the ground at different heights of the quadruple shoe, under the supervision of a professor. Dr. Walaa Fadel Ibrahim, and with his assistance, Eng. Saja Ibrahim Fadel. Manati indicated that our laboratory conducted more than five scientific experiments this year for researchers from various Iraqi universities. Its aim is to help researchers and obtain accurate results by relying on modern and advanced equipment.
