In the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Habib Ali Taher, a number of representatives and officials in the Muay Thai Federation and a large gathering of the sports fans who love the game, the Iraqi Youth Championship competitions were concluded in the Muay Thai in the presence of the Dean of the Media Division. The college said that the tournament sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports, Captain Adnan Darjal, was attended by more than 400 players
They represent 40 clubs from different governorates of Iraq, explaining that the tournament witnessed the largest participation in the number of players and clubs, and the competition in it was very strong because the teams included young and promising energies for the future of the game
Pointing out that the tournament was successful by all standards, especially that it was preceded by high-level logistical preparations, adding that the College of Physical Education is supportive of all sports and games in order to advance Iraqi sports, indicating that our presence in such tournaments gives great moral support and impetus to it.
At the end of the tournament, the Brigadier General presented some medals and prizes to a number of players who won the three places in the tournament.
